- Newest Version
- Application Integrity
- Disk Write Access
- Free Disk Space Required
- Screenshot Access
- The Upload and Submission Field is Missing
Newest Version
If you are presented with the error Newest version, you do not have the correct version of the Device Monitor installed. The latest version is required to take part in a flow and you can download it directly from the flow page where the Device Monitor is enabled.
Application Integrity
You need to run an authentic version of the Device Monitor. If you receive this error, please download the authentic, newest version from the flow page.
Disk Write Access
The application needs permission to write onto the storage. If you receive this error it might be because of a live USB or a similar constricted setup that does not allow write access on to the storage.
512MB of Free Disk Space
The application needs 512 MB of free disk space to temporarily store the screenshots captured. If you receive this error please free up disk space so you have at least 512 MB of disk space.
Screenshot Access
The Device Monitor needs access to the captured screenshot. Enabling access is different depending on your OS.
For Mac:
If you do not have screenshot access, you need to enable screenshot access in the system settings for the Device Monitor. Please see this guide to set the correct setting: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mchld6aa7d23/mac
The Upload and Submission Field is Missing
If you are not connected to the internet for an extended period, the field where you can upload and submit your work will disappear from view. You need to connect to the internet again to submit your work. It can take up to 60 seconds until the submission field appears automatically.
Below you can see the process of reconnection to the internet in WISEflow. The video was shortened for demonstration purposes.
