Set Up the LTI

Learn how to set up the LTI on your licence

Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI)® is a standard developed by the IMS Global Learning Consortium and specifies a way to integrate learning applications, often provided by third-party vendors, with platforms like Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard. WISEflow now supports LTI v1.3, whereby compatible platforms can utilise WISEflow as a tool on courses and tests. Setting up an LTI integration enables seamless connection between WISEflow and virtual learning environments.

Ultimately, the LTI offers an improved user experience for participants, assessors, reviewers and authors, linking LMS to WISEflow. The result is an easier and more streamlined navigation between LMS and WISEflow.

For a short demonstration of LTI features, watch this video where LTI is presented by the Product Owner during the Basic Integration Webinar held November 2024:

From your LMS you can either attach an existing flow to coursework within the LMS or, based on user privileges in WISEflow, be able to create a new flow in WISEflow. Please refer to your LMS platform for guidance.
