We are pleased to announce our new proctoring solution, which brings live remote proctoring with identity validation into WISEflow. It arrives with the October 2026 release and is available to purchase as an add-on module to your WISEflow licence.
The new proctoring solution is provided by PRUEFSTER, an EU-based proctoring specialist. It lets you run high-stakes remote exams in the same FLOWlock and FLOWmulti flows your staff already set up, while participants are verified and monitored throughout.
What is the new proctoring solution?
The solution connects your WISEflow flows to a dedicated proctoring platform. Participants confirm their identity on the proctoring platform before they can start, and invigilators watch the exam live from the same platform. Alternatively, AI can be utilised to review the recordings and flag any issues detected.
The new proctoring solution is for exams that require human judgement at the centre of proctoring, supported by technology. Three proctoring modes are available on one platform:
- Human proctoring: live proctors, available 24/7 in more than 20 languages as provided by our partner. Alternatively, clients can utilise their own staff.
- AI proctoring: automated monitoring suited to high-volume exams.
- 360° room scan: a room scan using a mobile phone and a QR code, with no app to download.
How it works in WISEflow
The new proctoring solution is opt-in, flow by flow. It only affects flows where a manager turns it on, so your existing flows are unchanged.
The proctoring session and the WISEflow session stay linked from start to finish.

The new proctoring solution works alongside the WISEflow lockdown browser, so you can combine a locked-down exam environment with live remote proctoring.

Privacy and Data Protection
The proctoring platform is built around European data protection standards. According to our partner's compliance information:
- Servers and staff are based in the EU, using a German cloud provider.
- Processing is GDPR-aligned, with privacy by design.
- Our partner holds ISO 27001 certification for its information security management.
- Retention of proctoring data is controlled by the institution.

Availability and How to Get Started
The new proctoring solution is available from 23 October 2026. It is a paid module: the Proctoring module must be active on your institution's WISEflow licence before managers can enable it on a flow.
To get started:
- Contact your UNIwise Customer Success Manager or the Growth Team to discuss pricing and add the Proctoring module to your licence.
- Agree which exams will use proctoring and which proctoring mode suits them.
- Run a test exam with your managers, invigilators and a small group of participants before your first live exam.
