Fast Track Friday: Accelerating Innovation Together

A new opportunity for UNIwise customers to see select feature ideas realised faster

Adopting an agile mindset leads to fast action. Our product and development teams are continuously improving our platform and ways of working. A prime example of this mindset is Fast Track Friday which we launched in August 2025: a dedicated day where the team focuses on solving small but meaningful product improvements. This approach is fast, focused, and deeply rewarding, demonstrating how minor tweaks can significantly enhance the everyday use of WISEflow.

What is Fast Track Friday?

Fast Track Friday is a regular event where our Product team dedicates one day to developing, refining, and delivering specific features that have the potential to benefit our entire customer community.

Fast Track Friday delivery is for development tasks that take less than one day and can be completed on the first Friday of a new development train, without needing further clarification.

All features released through Fast Track Fridays undergo the same rigorous quality assurance procedures as other features, and as a result, will be made available to customers after an 8-week period.

Why Did UNIwise Initiate Fast Track Friday?

This initiative was established to provide an opportunity to address minor yet valuable needs and functionalities outside of scheduled feature planning. These are enhancements that can be developed, tested, and completed within a single day. The objective of Fast Track Friday is to prioritise tiny but highly impactful improvements and functionalities that may not align with our regular development cycles or that pertain to areas we do not routinely address.

  • Community-wide gains: Features chosen for Fast Track Friday are those that offer clear benefits across our customer base, ensuring that everyone enjoys the results.

To further streamline how we capture your needs, we have introduced a new ticket category, “Product Enhancement”, which institutions can use to submit feature improvement requests for both WISEflow and Originality. We will continue capturing feature requests via SYCAmore, our designated platform for ideas and feedback. Each customer has a dedicated SYCAmore page where they can access and track the progress of their individual requests.

Each request will be carefully evaluated by our Product team, who consider factors such as impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment. They will also be able to determine the expected size of each feature and whether it can be considered for Fast Track Friday.
